It's just that he's still hung up and in love with Christina and should not be trying to move on right now. He needs some space alone first. I think he does want what he says he wants, he's just not in the place for it yet.

(I cracked up when Jackson was like "we have to start telling people" and April was going toward the first woman she saw ha ha.) Also Jo and Alex pretending to break up killed me the first time I saw it. It reminded me of early Jolex when they weren't together yet and she showed him how to fake cry to get a room.

2024-09-02 14:59:50 +0000 UTCI have always struggled to like Jo and this episode is what put her in the permanent dislike column 😂Her going around whining about her relationship being "illegal" oh my god...it's not like Alex is best friends with the board, who encouraged him to be with her. Her whiney, victimhood just pisses me off so much. It's a shame because I love Camila Luddington with all my heart, but Jo can fuck off for all I care 😂 And I know she has her traumatic past, I know it's hard for her to trust people and blah blah blah, I just could never get over her in this episode. This episode is usually a skip for me because of how much she makes my blood boil through this whole thing. It didn't help that at the time this episode aired, the legal fight for gay marriage had just really begun and things didn't feel like it would go in our favor. As queer person in a red state, it was a hard time. So to hear this white, cishet woman complaining about her "illegal" relationship really pissed me off and the hatred for Jo Wilson went into full force. Alex could do so much better.
