Oliver tried. TBF he's going through even worse at the moment, spooked by the Mirakurru and tormented with guilt and trauma. He still made it a point to help Laurel but it makes sense that he accepts she's hallucinating things because of drugs and guilt - he JUST did that himself!

I hate the way everyone around her thinks she's a liar and that it's just her substance abuse making her crazy when she's actually right about everything. Oliver should've done SO much better looking out for her and standing up for her. She really deserves better than this. 😭 But I'm so glad that Oliver is going to train Roy. About time the team got someone new. 😍

2024-08-16 23:52:36 +0000 UTCYou seemed a bit confused by Laurel's substance abuse - after she realized it wasn't Arrow's fault that Tommy died, she started blaming herself for it, sending her into a tailspin. They've dotted in a fair few scenes with her popping pills or drinking, but until now there was no real impact from it. --- _11's Location Trivia, this is (as far as I know), the first episode for the show to use their soundstage at Vancouver Film Studio for exterior shots. The roof scene where Laurel meets Oliver was on the roof of their soundstage, and the alley scene where Roy meets Sin is between the soundstage and the property's perimeter fence. Why rent out a roof/alley, when you've got one at home :P
