I definitely am picking up what you're putting down. It's almost like they are simultaneously doing too much and not enough at this point. Like they are bringing in new characters and storylines, quickly resolving them, and then not spending enough time with the established characters or at least fully fleshing out the new people before they are gone. I think this show did an excellent job the first 3 seasons with giving the storylines and new characters time to develop, but so far since season 4 I feel like things are a bit rushed. Like, I'm ok with the Snow Queen storyline ending (wasn't a huge fan) but they definitely could have done more with the Bad Bitch Brigade and they basically forgot about Lily and Malifecent. I think season 5 was paced well, but I agree that the last two episodes really could have waited for this season and given us more time with Hyde. IDK, it's been a while since I've watched past season 5 so I forgot a lot of the storyline from this season and the next one. I'm enjoying the revisit overall though.
