I like the bus crash mystery, but it doesn't hit as hard (IMO) as the season 1 mystery because it doesn't have the personal connection to Veronica. She was driven to discover Lilly's murderer, but here, other than some guilt she feels as the "target," she's not really invested at this point. The only person on the bus she really knew was Meg and it's Duncan who is busy obsessing over her...
