Main Post

Hey everyone, I hope you’re having a good day. There’s quite a lot of different things to show you in this update so hopefully there’s something for you all to enjoy. I’ll start off with the new characters as that’s probably what you’re most excited for and the I’ll move onto some of the other stuff :)

New Character - Sadako

READ THIS - There is a small bug at the moment where the phone doesn't work for her office scenes, you can still view the scenes using the "All Scenes" menu or scroll wheel but i will try get a fix out for it today.

Starting off quickly with a bit about the character poll. This one was I think he closest poll we have every had even at the end there was still 3 character who could have easily won and the person in first did change quite a few times which was very nice to see. Even the characters who had less votes were still getting a decent amount and were closer than they have been in previous polls which is really coo. I don’t know if that’s because this was just a bit of a different poll so there was more variety but I would like to try and have future polls be a bit closer. The being said Sadako was the character who won so she has been added in this update.

Scenes

Now for the scenes I have added her to all the ones I normally do when I add a new character which is up to Hole 2.

For her she has a different kind of hair shape, similar to Jessica R & Shego where part of the hair comes down infront of her face, although her her its a lot more. So that being said I have had to make some changes to how its positioned in some scenes just to get it working and looking good.

If you see any scene though where it overlaps weirdly or just doesn’t look right let me know and I can change it to make it look better.

Now when I added her to the poll I had the hair a bit more open so you could see part of her eyes. As I was drawing her I thought it might be quite a cool idea to have it so it completely covers them. I don’t know which one you will prefer though so I have just added both.

There is also a lot of weird layering stuff I have had to do with the hair so for any of these head variations if the hair is overlapping in a weird way let me know as I have probably linked the wrong hair to the wrong head design.

I will be adding her to the rest of the scenes over the coming updates hopefully getting most of them done in the next two.

Quest

For her quest I don’t know much about her, I know of a few basic things to do with her like a TV is involved but nothing else really but I have tried to link all that and some other stuff I looked up into a quest that I think works quite well. You will start off with having to repair a TV and then you will move onto some more longer dialogue before you unlock her. I have added some animations as well to change the view of the background and also to go with fixing the TV and it actually turning on. I will try and add some sound effect too but will need to get that all synced up.

This was kind of mixing the two quest options together but I would also like to try and add some different stuff to them for future quests just to change the difficulty a bit ore make them a bit more exciting

Audio

For her audio I have actually managed to add quite a lot compared to what I normally add for new characters. I also did the normal and then spoken stuff operate like I updated a couple of updates ago I think now. So the full list of audio types added for her is

All of these will have between 30-50 seconds of audio so overall there’s quite a lot of different stuff to choose from. I would also like to get the trail off audio done for her soon but might get that done at the same time as lots of other characters in a big batch of them.

C*mshots - New Scene

Now for another quite exciting thing, which I hope you are all liking because I’ve been working quite a lot on them recently, I did see they are doing well in the current poll although the scene things is winning that by quite a lot. Anyway as the original Rev C*wgirl (Back) already had the c*mshot feature, that being the old one, I thought it would be nice to add it to the new scene. I have added 3 locations so far but this new way of doing nit makes it so much easier code wise to add new locations, I still have to draw them but after that I can just add them in. Anyway I will stick with 3 at the moment but once most scenes have this feature there are a lot more locations I would like to add which should be very fun.

Let me know if there are any bugs with this, I did find some with the F*otjob scene which I have now fixed I think but there could be some in the other scenes so I’ll test them out as well a bit more.

Scene Transition Updates

The scene transition option has done very very well in the feature focus poll and I thought it would be nice to start on it a bit already. This is something more code wise I added, not animation, that will now allow you to switch between characters in the same scene and have the transition play.

You will need to use the scroll wheel for this and have the scroll wheel option enabled in the pause menu but after that it should all work well.

This will also work for the D*ggy scene although there have been a few bugs when switching between this and the new scene, I think I have fixed them but let me know if you still have any

Characters Added To Scenes

The characters I have added to scene this update have mainly been focusing on the new Rev C*wgirl (Back) V2 scene as that was just added.

I managed to get a decent amount added to this and with he new characters scenes this update has had quite a lot of new stuff scenes wise.

All these characters should have every feature available in this scene so let me know if there’s any bugs.

Next update I will be trying to get most of the other characters added and then I can move onto characters like Loona, Roxy etc which shouldn’t too hard to add actually from this view.

Outfits

For the outfits as I have mainly been focusing on some of the other feature I have only managed to get a few outfits done for the Against Wall Outside scene.

These are the ones I would like to do so we’ll see how that goes :) Once I get every character the unique legwear in the Against Wall Outside I will focus again on more of the full outfits I just think it would be nice to have something unique, even if its small, in one of the scenes.

I have also got two full outfits done for the Legs Spread On Desk scene as this scene just got the outfit feature so want to get a decent amount added here.

These will both work with any character although for Ranni her outfit has some texture problems with some characters depending on their hair, I will try and fix this for all of them but might take a bit of time to get everything on the right layer

Head Design - Shego

For the head designs this update it was between Shego and Lola B and I think most people wanted. Different variation of Shego. There was a lot of people asking for Zeld and I do have a sketch for her but I will try and get that done next update instead which should work out quite nicely. I don’t know if you want a redesign of her current head or want a different variation of her look as I know she has a lot but I could do either I might just need to get another sketch done.

Anyway onto shego I have added her head design to every scene and I think it looks really nice.

Its a slightly different look of her which is always cool and also just makes it a bit easier to add her head into scenes as most of it is behind her head.

Let me know if there’s any bugs of this showing the wrong head though and I’ll get that fixed

Still Images - Charlie M & Carrot

For the images this update I have got two done, starting with the Charlie M one, here is how that’s looking.

This will have 4 variations like all the images at the moment. Then onto Carrot I am really happy with how this one has turned out, the camera view is quite cool and it will be a really fun one to get animated

Night Backgrounds - Th*ghjob

Finally some more night backgrounds. I was going to do the Legs Spread On Desk scene for this update but then I realised I was already half way through some of the ones for the Th*ghjob scene so thought might as well do these ones first.

Its a bit random which scenes im adding these too at the moment XD but once they’re all added it will come together very nicely.

The next scene will probably be the Legs Spread On Desk though unless I find another one I’ve already started on.

That’s all the stuff I have for now, there’s going to be a lot more coming and I am going to try and do a wide variety of stuff now as I think that might be quite nice. Normally I would do a lot of outfits but if I do a bit less of them I can add more things like the C*mshots, Audio, Scene Transition Updates and then any other small things as well which might be nicer as then there’s something everyone can enjoy.
