Then, she stayed there afterwards and still didn't tell him! I gotta say though, J. Love Hewitt be acting her ass off in a lot of these scenes!

I'm guessing from her pov she didn't want to give any false hope, that she truly didn't know whether she would get better or be able to be the mom she wanted to be. But I think that's slightly more understandable if it were over 30 years ago without cell phones or easy ways to contact but we do have those options and can give quick updates.

2024-05-08 22:32:18 +0000 UTCYou aren’t being hyper critical Travis. It irritates me also that she kept her loved ones in limbo for 6 months with that BS “don’t look for me” video. Come on! You know who your brother and partner are. They take things on themselves. I loved that they addressed PPD but I hate this unrealistic take. It’s not okay to run out on your family without a word of your safety. People develop crippling anxiety about missing loved ones. I wasn’t a fan of this stories direction in the end. Wonderful to see JJ on screen though :).
