2024-05-03 20:18:59 +0000 UTCI love Patton Oswalt as the voice of The Deep's Gills. I think S1 had shock value on its side, like anything they did was outrageous for its genre. By S2 we kind of know what The Boys are about as a tv show so it is harder to shock us be it with violence or crassness, but I love The Boys as a satirical social commentary and I think S2 really shines in that aspect.
