I think because the show is pushing hard that forbidden romance angle with Liv but he is so not worthy of her (and of Mellie) it is not even funny. There were a lot of fictional presidents that I could hate because they were intended to be villains and that's cool. But this show wants me to see this whiney man-child as a romantic lead? Hell no!
