Main Post

Hey everyone, I know a lot of you are excited for the new F*otjob scene which im very happy to have added in this update. However there is also lots of other cool stuff and new features that im trying out that I would like you to take a look at if you have some time. Just different ways of animating some things and how some stuff code wise is set up but I’ll go through all of that below :)

New F*tojob Scene - Outside

For this there is quite a lot of stuff I would like to go through so I’m going to split it into parts to make it a bit easier to see everything. One thing I did quickly want to say though is that I spent a lot more time drawing this scene and making sure the animation itself was as sooth as possible so I’d really like to see if you actually notice that there is an improvement in the overall quality of it, I think this might be the most detailed scene I’ve done so im very excited for you all to see it :)

Characters Added

So in the end I did managed to get 20 characters added. This was a very big and complex scene with lots of new things I was testing out so originally didn’t think id be able to get this many added but from when I saw from the beta testers people would rather I got more characters added to this and then get the Chun li head design done next update instead.

Anyway its the first 20 character like I normally do with new scenes. As there are two views though it has meant I have added to add two heads. This shouldn’t be a problem just let me know if they don’t sync up.

A lot of these characters also have head variations which adds even more so ended up having to set up 4 heads for each character XD which did add to a bit of the time but hopefully I got them all added in well and they all work.

Let me know if you find any bugs though, maybe some with the audio as due to there being two heads I have had to set up a system them will pause one depending on if you are zoomed in or out.

Also let me know how the zoom in and out thing is working and if there are any bugs with that.

Updated Line Work

This was something I have been doing a small amount of different things, mainly with new head designs and a bit with scenes but have never added it to a full scene until now. Basically what it is is where parts of the lines overlap I go back and chance the colour to one that matches the character.

If that doesn’t make sense here are some examples you can see on the leg and a*s.

This does take a bit longer to do as I have to go through every frame and draw over the new colour which does add a bit of time to making the scenes however I think it improves the overall quality enough that the extra time is worth it but let me know as if you prefer how it normally is I can go back to that.

Both Views - Zoom In & Out

Now when I first showed you this scene I said I was going to have to do it a bit zoomed in and have the characters head in a window. This was the plan however when I was drawing it I realised that the side facing heads I already have do kind of work. Not as good as seeing the back of the characters head, but ill need to get them drawn for each character in the future if that’s something you’d like, but these are still quite good so thought I’d add them as an option that you can toggle.

From what i could see people wanted the full view one as the default but this will all save when you toggle it

Also the audio for the characters, as there are two heads I have to toggle on one and the other off depending which head you can see. This should restart the audio but let me know if there’s any problems with two audios trying to play at once or it becoming out of sync.

Zoom In Scale For Device

This might be a reason that its best to not have the zoom in option as default. If you are playing on a PC the scene should look fine when zoomed in, the head will be off to the right and it will be a nice view of everything. However if you are playing on a slightly wider screen device I have had to to and scale it to look as good as possible. Originally I was going to just have the characters body always be so that the head is off the screen to the right however that means if the screen is longer then there will be lots of empty space on the left which isn’t the best. So the idea I have gone with is to write my own code system that will calculate the size and position of the character based on how wide your screen is to try and make sure the character takes up most of the screen but is also off to the right when zoomed in so that you can still have the window.  This isn’t perfect yet as I still need to edit parts of the code but let me know what you think and if anything doesn’t fit right in the screen when viewing the zoomed in way.

Move The Window

With the window when I added it with the original animation it looked all good and everything fit perfectly however I forgot to think about how the game has lots of other buttons that take up parts of the screen. I have moved it around to fit how I think is best however I know a lot of you might prefer it in other positions so what I have done is added and “edit window” button that will let you move where the window is and also make it smaller or bigger depending what you prefer.

This should also save across all characters in this scene and should also save/load when you reload the game. Let e know if there are any problems with this.

C*mshot

Note - This can be better so im going to try again next update and see if I can make it better.

For the c*mshot you’ve probably seen this before but here is how its looking in full colour.

I can change the speed of it or movement in parts if you don’t think the animation itself looks the best but let me know. Also one thing you might notice is that it starts right away while there is still movement in the scene. This was something new i wanted to test out but if you think its better the other way where the c*mshot happens while the scene is still then i can do that.

I have also made it so when you go back to the normal animation it will stay but let me know what you think of that as well. Its quite hard to have it sync up with such a big area and motion so if you think it doesn’t look the best let me know. I am going to try and make it better for the next update

Outfits

As there was a lot of stuff I need to get done for this I didn’t have as much time to get as many outfits added as I would like however I did still manage to get a few done.

I wanted to focus on the leg wear items as its a f*otjob scene I thought that would be what people wanted to see most.

I do have an idea for some br* like half off options that I will try and get added soon depending on what you’d like to see first. If you have any ideas for any other outfits you think would work well in this scene though let me know

B*ob Sizes

Like with the outfits and amount of characters added to scenes I didn’t originally think I’d have enough time to add these this update but most people wanted to see these first and then get the Chun li head designs added next update instead.

I have done 3 sizes like I normally do, however I can add a huge size in the future if you would like.

Each of these have been drawn on their own to try and match how that size would fit within the scene instead of just resizing them. One thing about the “big” size. I think its a bit too similar to the medium so I might try and redraw that one soon to get it looking a bit better.

Backgrounds

For the backgrounds I have only got the basic one done for now. I am working on all the other themes as well as the night themes so will hopefully have them all for you next update.

Let me know what you think of the location though, it was between outside and upstairs in the house and this was the one I went with.

Shadow

This is a very quick one but I did manage to get a shadow added in for this update however there were two ways I could do it. Normally I will do it with a kind of fade effect but the I was adding it in before adding the effect I thought it looked quite good without the effect.

Here they are side by side, let me know which you think is best and I can go for that but for now it is the one with the slight fade.

Scene Improvements

This was not only just a scene update but also a feature focus update with the thing being focused on being scene improvements. Starting off with the Double D*ldo scene. This scene was very cool and unique and a lot of people do like it but there’s just parts of it that I thought could be improved. The two main things I wanted to improve were the D*ldo and the Cr*ampie both of these just not looking the best.

Starting off with the D*ldo, I have updated this to be a lot more detailed and better shape etc along with making the colour a generic one that goes across all the characters as I think changing it to fit each character wasn’t working the best. This will be the same colour as the one in the Against Wall Outside scene.

Here is how they look side by side so you can see the difference.

All the other old D*ldo options are still in this scene, this new one will just be the default. When I start work on the save and load system for scenes you will be able to save which one you prefer so it auto loads that one for each character.

Now for the cr*ampie, this didn’t really work the best previously and you couldn’t even really see it a lot of the time. I have updated it to work he same way as some of the newer scenes and also how I updated it to work in the Against Wall Outside scene.

Here is how the old and new ones look side by side, I hope you like the new look of this.

Now onto the next scene I wanted to focus on, the Close Up H*ndjob. There was a few small things I wanted to update in this scene just to get it looking a bit better. The first of these was the B*lls.

Here you can see the old version and updated version, hopefully you can see the improvement. While I was adding it though I thought of a small other thing I could add to make it a bit better, a wt toggle option that you can add onto the b*ll just to give it a bit more detail.

This will be a toggle option though so you can choose if you’d like to have it on.

Next is the same thing that I have just done for the new scene above where for any line art the overlaps I have changed the colour to match the character. This is a very slight change in this scene so you might not notice it but if you look at the b*obs below I hope you can see it and it just gives the overall feel of the scene that much more.

There are other parts to this scene I can add it to so let me know what you think and if you really do like this new line art then I can add it for future scene as well as going back to old ones and updating it there.

Characters Added To Scenes

For the characters added to scenes this update I wanted to focus on getting jinx added to some more.

I have added her to 10 more scenes which is quite good and I will then be adding her to the rest of hers next update I hope.

New Unique Outfits - Which Animation Looks Best?

So I’ll start off quickly with the outfits I’ve added and what I’m doing. Basically I wanted to get some unique leg wear added to the Against Wall Outside scene just as I didn’t think I’d have enough time to really get lots of full unique outfits added with everything else I was having to add and I thought this was the best way to still get a decent amount of unique stuff added.

Here are some of the outfits I have gone for there’s also some more for other characters which you can see in the update notes. One thing with Kim though I did do her outfit and then realised she hasn’t actually been added to this scene yet XD so I’ll get her added next update and the outfit will atomically be there for her. Overall there should be 6 of these for you to see and then Kim’s will be coming next update along with some more if these are something you like?

Now onto the question I had about these, these outfits have been animated in a different way to the ones already there. They have been done the same way as most of the On Side unique outfits and Hole 3 unique outfits. This is mainly done to save file size as the game is getting quite big so wherever I can save some space I’m going to try to.

Note - Ignore that there are parts missing XD this is just to show how the two leg wear items are animated. The difference is very small but if you look close you should be able to see it

This does however mean I have to animate everything within the game which is a bit different to how I normally do, I am learning and getting a lot better at it but there are a couple of different ways I can do it so above I have done two ways I think are both good and if you could let me know which you think is best that would be great as then I can kind of use them as a template for all the unique outfits and just change them around a bit to fit with each one.

Speed Sliders Added To More Scenes - Range & Section

Note - Range slider has been fixed

Following on from a lot of the previous updates I have added the speed sliders now options to some more scenes.

These have been added all the way from the H*ndjob to the M*ssioanry V2 scene which means every scene should have these now apart from Hole 1. Although Hole 1 is very complex code wise so it might take me a bit longer to add it there.

Anyway what I wanted to know is would you like me to now focus on adding the Auto C*mbar Feature to all the scenes like I’ve just done with the speed sliders or would you like me to start adding some extra options to the speed sliders like changing how often the range speed updates, full save/load system, what section of the animation the speed sliders change etc.

Jinx LOL - New Audio

This one is very quick but last update when I added Jinx I had to use Emma Frost’s audio just while I waited to get the audio for Jinx. I have now got hers and added it in and there should be over 200 seconds of unique audio. Let me know fit here’s any problems though with it not being synced or anything.

Head Designs - Chun Li

This is another very quick one. This update has taken a lot more work than I originally thought with the new scene and new features so I haven’t had time to get a new character head design added yet. I will try and get this done for the next update as I don’t think there’s anything big that will take up a to of my time. There is the new character but I should also have time for 1 and maybe 2 character head designs.

If I do end up being able to do 2 which would be the next one you want to see after Chun Li?

Still Images & Animations

Finally the image and animation. Starting with the image I have gone for Yorha 2B and you can see tat below fully down with the backgrounds.

She will have 4 variations like with most of the other images.

Now onto the animation, this month I have gone for Marceline and a lot of people were saying to remove the mirror version of her which would be cool however the guy and her are kind of all drawn and animated as one so would have too remove both. I don’t know if that would still be better but I think it would probably be best to just have them both in the mirror so you at least get another view of everything :D Let me know though I can do it either way.

Here is also a look at the new cr*ampie stuff I will be able to do with this new animation system. Please let me know if its working for you all and you can view these without and bugs. I have updated some of the other characters as well this update which should reduce file size a bit but more importantly allow me to do these cr*ampies. The characters are

it is slowly getting add to scenes that have the updated outfit code, it should work in some now but will take a bit longer to get it working in all
