I think mark got killed off because his actor had a drug problem in the last few seasons 😭 and lexie was killed because it didn't make sense for her actor to stay without mark 🤔

It would be torture I think to wait that long for an answer. I learned about this show late in the game and got to binge watch them one after another. Grey's is one of my all-time favorite shows and probably always will be. I love that April's coming back, she's so good as a character and she's an awesome actress. Cannot wait for more reactions. Loved your reaction and your expressions when you figured out he was going to pass and at the end with Arizona. It's why I love watching so much.

And it's not because of Lexie and Mark dying (even though that was painful to watch). It's because of the way the aftermath was handled. I would've liked to see the moment they got rescued and brought back to Seattle. I feel like that would've been such an amazing and poignant episode but it feels like the writers just glossed over it.

Ever since she impressed him with beating that 'unbeatable' training exercise in the parking lot I always loved their interactions. But yeah I call BS on her not just practicing medicine (which she could even without boards) and instead sticking her on a farm. Those years and years of education almost down a drain...

I remember months before the plane crash she tweeted that we Slexie fans needed to hold on and then she killed them both. She could have given Lexie some fantastical fellowship in another city and then Mark could have went with her and we could have gotten out happy ending. Instead she did this. Great writing but so cruel to the audience. I’m still bitter LOL

Eric Dane (Mark) felt that without Lexie , he didn’t really have much of a place on the show anymore , so he decided to let mark die with her. I can KIND OF forgive Shonda for this one because it was both the actors decisions not hers….kind of; NOT REALLY. Also keep in mind that teddy is officially gone since Owen fired her last episode so not only are mark and Lexie dead but teddy is gone. Also Jo Wilson (The girl who said they were stranded out there for a week) and Stephanie Edwards (the black intern & Jo’s best friend) are two of my favorite characters on the show. Really happy April came back.
