July Progress Report + Character Theme Poll

Hey everyone, I hope you’re all having a good start to the month. There a few things I want to go over with you for what’s planned for this month and following updates. There is also a small poll at the bottom to vote on what theme this months character poll should be.

Scene Transition Updates - New Features And Scenes

Following on from this feature I would like to keep working on some improvements and extra features that could be added just to make it and overall better feature. In the last updated I added that it can work with the scroll wheel and also updated some things to make it a bit smoother as well as a Low RAM mode all of which I hope improved the overall feel of it.

For the next couple of updates there are two things I would like to focus on. The first of those being some soft character audio that will play during the transition animation. At the moment there is only some movement sounds with none of the character audio. I will need to get some custom audio done that will fit with these transitions and then have it play over the course of the transition. The audio for this will probably be soft as I think that will fit best. I will try and get these done for the next update but will have to see how much time I have with the new scene and everything. I would like to get it added to all the characters at once instead of one at a time just so then people don’t think why some are missing.

Transition between different characters in the same scene. At the moment it transitions between different scenes of the same character but I would like to add the other way as well that should work or look a bit something like this.

Finally some auto scene transitions would be cool. I think this would be better when I have more scenes with these translations so that you could smoothly go between 3 or 4 without having to click anything. This will come with a lot of customisation like how long it should play each scene for. If it should auto cr*ampie first and anything else you’d like to customise. I feel like this will be quite a big feature so will wait for a feature focus poll to add this too so that I can spend a decent amount of time on it, but again I would like to get some more transitions done first as I think that will be best.

Moving onto some more of the transitions I have got two sketch animations done now, one of them you have already scene which is the H*ndjob one below.

The next is the D*epthroat one which you won’t have seen before.

There are still some things that need to be made a bit smoother in these just to get everything looking perfect but soft far I’m very happy with how they are looking.

I would like to continue with the office scenes getting all of them done first before moving onto one of the other rooms so the ones I’m going to be working on next are the Rev C*wgirl (Front) & On Side.

Here is what the position for the On Side will look like and I will have a image of the position/view of the Rev C*wgirl (Front) one in the next WIP :)

Character Poll This Month - M*lF, Monster Girl Or Generic

This is going to be a very quick one about the poll at the bottom of this post. Basically there is going to be a character poll mid month this month and I was wondering what theme you would like to see. Last character poll it was between Video Game & Monster Girl and I was going to do a Monster Girl one this poll but thought maybe it would be best to let you vote again incase there’s a different them you’d like. I’ll show you some characters that will be in either of these themed polls to give you an idea and then also some other characters I want to get sketches done ready for the poll if they win

M*lf

Some other characters I’d like to get ready for this theme are - Komi S, Cass, Bayonetta, Juri H

Monster Girl

There is quite a wide range of characters that can be in this so gives quite a lot of variation.

Generic Characters

This ones a bit different. For a while now I’ve been doing themed polls so thought it might be nice to go back and do just a generic character poll to give lots of character a chance. This will include some of the best character from the M*lf and Monster Girl themes but also characters from other polls and some you haven’t seen yet. Here’s some examples.

New Scene - F*otjob

This month is going to see a new scene that was voted for by you last month. When this poll first came out it was very close with the scene winning changing multiple times but some time through it the From Behind option started to really get a lot of votes so that’s the one that’s going to get added.

I have now got the full sketch animation done which you can see below.

From what everyone was saying it looks like they want the head to be in a window in the top left however if it isn’t to difficult I am going to add an option to toggle between he left and right for those people that would rather it on the right. I am probably also going to move the head down and off to the right a bit until I have some time to draw parts of the characters hair form behind then I can have that kind of coming from the right down their back which will make them a bit more unique.

I have also been working on a c*mshot for this scene in the updated way that I added for both the B*objob and H*ndjob Close Up which just looks and flows so much better. Here is how that looks.

I am going to increase the speed for sections of this just and move some parts around as it looks a bit slow in parts but this was mainly all done at one speed to get it looking as smooth as possible.

Let me know what you think of this though and I can’t wait to get it added :)

One last thing in the future I am going to add a V*g and An*l option to this scene so for people where f*otjob scene aren’t their favourite hopefully this adds something you’ll all like.

Feature Focus Poll This Month

Last months feature focus poll had a couple of the “Bigger” options not included as I knew I had a scene that I would want to spend most of my time on and didn’t want to have to try and do two big things for one update as it would mean they wouldn’t come at as good. However for this months feature focus poll as its a character poll month I will have more time to focus on things in next months mid month update. That being the case I am going to be adding two big options back to this months poll.

The first of these being the Hole 3 Multiple Characters Option. In this update out today I have updated the Hole 3 code so that in can load in a way that will allow the multiple characters just like with Hole 2. This did take a lot of time to update and there was a a lot more errors than with Hole 2 but hopefully its all working now. If you do notice any problems please let me know as soon s you can so I can get them fixed ready for the feature focus poll as then if this option does win it will be a lot smoother when adding it.

The next options im adding back is going to be the “Outfit Focus” option which hasn’t been in a poll for a while now. There will be two parts to this. The first being adding the unique outfits work with any character option to the Legs Spread On Desk scene that will work in the same way it does for scenes like M*ssioanry V2 & B*objob. This shouldn’t be too hard to add as the code is pretty much already there I just need to update some things and get it to all sync up.

The second part of this will be focusing on some more unique outfits and also maybe some generic ones if you want. We can speak about this a bit closer to the feature focus poll to figure out what it is you’d like to see.

There will also be all the other options from the previous polls so hopefully there’s a good selection for you to choose from. On that not some of the other options like Hair Physics, Backgrounds etc I will be working on anyway just in some free time I have as I think it would be nice to get a bit of them added even if they don’t win polls just to improve parts are the game.

Outfits - Full Unique Or Unique P*nts/Legwear?

Note - There is much more outfits than just these, I just wanted to show you some I don’t think you’ve seen before but if there’s another character or scene you prefer please let me know and ill see if I can get it done :D

Moving onto outfits. Last update I focused a lot on full unique outfits which was very nice but did take up a bit more time than doing smaller Generic or Unique P*nts outfits. This meant there wasn’t as many outfits added although these ones were bigger with a lot more parts.

I think moving forward it would be nice to do a bit of both so that way you get a few full outfits but also then a decent amount of smaller ones just so there’s lots of new stuff for you to enjoy each update. Over the past few updates I have been focusing a lot on the Unique P*nts in the B*objob scene which people really seem to like however I think I’m getting to a point where most the characters have their own unique p*nts in this scene so would be nice to add some to another scene, unless you want me to get them added to every character who doesn’t have a full unique outfit yet?

Anyway if you want me to add some more stuff to some other scenes I know a lot of people liked the unique p*nts option but would you also like to see some unique legwear? This would be done the same way as it was in Hole 2 where each leg wear trys to fit with the theme of the character probably taking the designs from there and updating them a bit. The scene I was thinking for this was the Against Wall Outside scene as that doesn’t have any unique outfits or even many outfits at all. Another scene that could be good is the Jack O scene although that does already have some generic leg wear outfits so would be nice to get these added to one that doesn’t have much. Just let me know which scene you’d like.

Now for the generic outfits its been a while since I added a full one of these and I do have some sketches for some more. Here are some options for you to choose from just let me know if you like any of these or if you like them but would prefer them in a different scene then I can get a sketch done for that.

Still Images + Image Animation

Starting off with the still images, for the mid month update this mouth you will be getting an image animation and a still image, the image I would like to get done for this one is Yorha 2B, you can see how that’s coming along below.

Then for the update after that you will be getting two images and for that I would like to get one of Yoruichi and then also a double one of Charlie M & Carrot, both of these you can see below.

Here is what the Yoruichi one is going to look like and then ill have a sketch for the Charlie M & Carrot one soon. Let me know what you think though.

For the image animation you’ll be getting in the next update the one I have gone for is this Marceline one. This is a bit more of a complex one as there is a mirror in the back but when its done im sure its going to look amazing.

After this one I think I’ll either do the Aqua & Albedo image or another one if there’s one you’d like to see first.

Now for the updates to do with the image animation, a few people on Android have said they can’t view them and I think this is something to do with some Android devices. For this update I have changed the way everything works code wise with the Charlie M animation so if you do have a bit of time and want to check that works please do as if it works this way then it opens up so many more possibilities for this feature. I’ll be able to do an idle animation, cr*ampie animation along with the outfit variations. This should also reduce the file size a tiny bit which is always good.

Scene Improvements

In last months feature focus poll the scene improvements option won which I think is quite a good thing so that I can spend some time improving the ovarial quality of the game and just making sure everything is looking as good as it possibly can. Some of the things I’d like to focus on are here.

• Hole 2 Multiple Characters Code (This isn’t really an improvement more making things work a bit smoother and have things work with other feature in that scene)

If you have any other suggestions though let me know. I would love to get all of these done but don't think i'll have time with all the other stuff but i'll try yo get as many done as possible

Here’s how some of the standing characters I’d like to get done look.

One other thing I would like to improve but probably won’t have time to is the c*mshot feature. This hasn’t had much work done to it for a while but I have been getting some feedback on how it could be better and I think the way to go with it is to make it more simple. At the moment there’s a lot of complex options that just take away from the feature itself so soon I would like to make it a bit easier to use and also add the c*mshots to some more scenes.

More Head Designs

Like with last month I would like to get 1/2 head designs done instead of 3/4 if that’s still ok with you. This will give me a lot more time to focus on some other things. That being said I have got som more sketches done for some other characters done. 

Although some of you might want these done right away I did say I was going to get the variations for Chun Li done first and I also have an update look for Charlie M here if you’d like to see that as well.

I’ll start with Chun Li then just let me know which other head design you’d like done next. Here’s a couple more I showed in the last WIP incase you didn’t see them.

Speed Sliders & C*m Bar Actions

Finally the speed sliders and C*m Bar Actions. This update that just came out I wanted to focus more not he speed sliders instead of doing a bit of each. I thought this was the best way to get everything added as quick as possible as when I focus on one thing I can get a lot more done. There is now only like 6 or 7 scenes left to add the extra speed slider option too which I should be able to get added next update. Once I’ve done that I can focus a lot more on the C*m Bar Actions and try get them added to every scene as well.

For the speed sliders though one I have got them added to every scene there are some other things I’d like to add just to give you more customisation. This will be things like changing how long it waits between changing the random speed. How quickly it moves to the new speed. How many sections of the speed section one you’d like to edit and any more things (Along with having all the values save and load for each individual scene). About the saving and loading I was thinking of having it so when you edit it for one scene it saves it for only that scene but then at the bottom of the menu there will be a button that lets you apply this to every scene to save you the time of having to change it for each scene. If you have any other suggestions for this feature that you’d like to customise let me know.

Now onto the C*m Bar Actions. There is a lot of things code wise I need to edit with this and make better but I will be doing that ones I have the speed sliders fully added so that I can focus more on it. That being said there are also some new things I would like to add similar to the speed sliders where you’ll be able to customise stuff like how quickly the bar fills. If it will automatically go back to the normal animation etc. This will probably all come once I’ve added it to every scene but its just something to be excited for.
