2024-03-15 00:13:58 +0000 UTCYay! Thanks for the great reaction. The movie is a great intro to the stargate world imo and lots more to come! I agree with you about the fact there's a lot of dialog that's not subtitled but I think part of the reason for that is that they're trying to make the viewer feel like the characters do in not being able to understand them. Can definitely feel jarring though. Honestly shocked every time I watch it how well the movie holds up considering its age Can't wait for the show to start, which starts with a double episode 1 and 2 combined which almost feels like another movie tbh! Also to anyone else Dropbox is limited to 2 hours for playback so you have to download to watch the last 5 mins or so
