the Zola moment is so needed because this episode is so heart heavy and emotionally taxing… the first time i saw this it was such a relief to see Zola after the loses of Henry and those parents.

Gotta be the most depressing episode of the series, but the ending is such a payoff. I don't know that I'll ever watch it again, this was only my second watch, and its just so heavy. The acting really knocks you to the floor this episode.

I really think my brain somehow blocked out the fact that all of this happened in just two episodes. I remember all the parts happening individually, but I really had forgotten the emotional rollercoaster it takes you on all at once! So good though.

One of my favorite things about this show is the storylines we get with the patients in the one off episodes. Definitely one that gets me every damn time And omg i can’t imagine how tortuous that surgery must’ve been for christina and she did the right thing telling teddy as soon as she could, Owen as chief could’ve told teddy “no im not having one my residents do the surgery we’ll get an attending” but because of his friendship with teddy he let her make the decisions but that’s on him, lying to her for hours, right or not, was his choice and him trying to pawn the blame off on torres or getting mad when christina told teddy, like dude you’re the big kahuna now all this falls on you
