2024-05-26 01:47:33 +0000 UTCOnly watched part of the reaction as had to stop or would be late. Ta is a short way to say thank you here in the UK. Similarly we use cheers as well. There are many ways to say thank you here. Comes in handy especially when you have aload of doors that the same person holds open for you. We couldn't possibly just keep repeating 'thank you' 🤣.

I liked him in this episode, but he's also great on a BBC TV series called Being Human (the British version, not the American copy version that came later). It's about a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost sharing the same house. (It also stars Aidan Turner, who played one of the dwarves in the Hobbit films -- he's the hot one named Kili, lol) Anyway, Being Human is dark, it's funny and Russell is fantastic in it. Highly recommended if you've never seen it.
