As someone who went to a college when it had a mass shooting, this episode is always so hard to watch but when Yang stays, idk I sort of get that. It's emotional for me.

2024-07-16 20:12:49 +0000 UTCQueen Bokhee!!!! I love her so much. Somehow even though she's just there quietly, I love her as much as the other characters and if anything were ever to happen to her I would stop watching the show forever. She's such a steady constant. No matter what happens, our girl Bokhee is there ready to hand these lunatics their 10 blades and 3-0 vicryl.

2024-04-26 15:15:33 +0000 UTCIs that the one with Martha Plimpton and Jason Isaacs? It also has Aunt Lydia from Handmaid's Tale? Because if we are thinking of the same film, I agree. Truly brilliant acting but a very hard watch.

2024-04-26 15:12:44 +0000 UTCCatching up on your greys reaction and this might be one of my favorite eps. I cried basically the whole way through. What a show

2023-12-21 20:32:21 +0000 UTCThere's a movie called Mass that came out in the last couple of years (maybe 2021?) that is incredible. It's essentially just 4 people talking for the entirety of the movie, two of the people are parents of a shooter and two are parents of a victim. It's a masterclass in acting, and worth a watch, even though it is tough.

2023-11-19 06:42:29 +0000 UTCThat's one of the craziest things about living in the US that much like with these episodes of Grey's Anatomy the only way that we get through trauma in this country is to have more trauma happen to us. It's crazy. We move from one trauma to the next like it's normal that this is how we live.

2023-11-13 18:58:51 +0000 UTCTravis mentioning how Bokhee is always just there like 👀🤦🏻♀️ is honestly the greatest thing ever 😭🤣

2023-11-13 18:32:03 +0000 UTCAlex's scene with Jackson is one of the best examples of how far he's come from the asshole everyone thought they would always hate. He is amazing example of a complex character and how to show realistic growth.

2023-11-12 16:25:35 +0000 UTCThis is definitely one of my favorite episodes especially of season 7! I've been waiting on this one!! And IDK if I could've been the bigger person either

2023-11-11 15:29:07 +0000 UTCI love how even in only 40 minutes of an episode , each character gets their moments to shine in each one and they get growth in every episode. Pretty much everyone is a main character and it’s amazing how the writers give each of them an important story to follow.

2023-11-11 15:08:56 +0000 UTCIt's not just symbolic they're legally not allowed not to save him. A doctor takes an oath not only to First Do no harm but to treat the patient right in front of them. They legally morally an ethically cannot choose to not treat somebody, it's why they had to treat the ambulance Nazi back in the day, it's why a lot of the super crappy characters get treated. Because doctors aren't allowed to choose to not treat. If they hadn't treated him and he died everybody in that OR would have lost their licenses

2023-11-11 14:35:05 +0000 UTCOne last thought, it’s adorable that Mer was mad that about Derek and Cristina, cuz she was jealous for Cristina, not Derek!

2023-11-11 08:43:14 +0000 UTCGreat ep! As tough as it is as a normal person with gut “fairness” instincts to swallow, ethically they have try to save shooter. Leaving him in the OR with no doctors is essentially the same thing as purposefully/actively killing him (a choice they make causes a death). In rising above they separated themselves from the type of person who would do that (a shooter) and found healing through it

2023-11-11 04:50:15 +0000 UTCI came here to talk about BokHee! She's the longest-lasting supporting character on Grey's and a GA legend.

2023-11-11 00:38:55 +0000 UTCthese mass tragic accident episodes always give me anxiety when there is too much going on at once and the hospital is hectic.

2023-11-10 23:31:47 +0000 UTCI can't even FATHOM the fact that shootings are so common in the USA that we witness them twice on the same show, 11 episodes apart and that's just believable and not just a dramatic device. I can't imagine this being common, the terror of knowing that someone can just start shooting people anywhere because it happens so frequently. (And I live in f*cking Brazil)

2023-11-10 23:06:56 +0000 UTCThat is so heartwarming!

2023-11-10 22:26:27 +0000 UTCI love Alex! And, yay! You finally noticed Queen Bokhee! She’s the one who was handing Derek the things he asked for. She’s been in every episode up till now. The job she does in the OR is her job in real life. As far as I know, she’s never spoken a line. And I am rooting for Callie and Arizona. And I think Lexie Grey is my favorite person, so much so that I named my youngest daughter Lexie.

2023-11-10 21:50:44 +0000 UTCOh also, the lady who is always in the OR looking at people like wtf is BokHee who is a scrub nurse in real life. I always think that’s so cool!
Erin
2023-11-10 21:24:08 +0000 UTCThe hardest part of this episode is it is once again Jackson and Cristina in the ER with the shooter. BokHee (the Asian scrub nurse staring at Mer and handing Derek his tools) is the most treasured character in Greys, she is a real life scrub nurse and so what you see is her implementing her real world experience into the show.

2023-11-10 21:19:10 +0000 UTCSuch a great episode! Yang!!!!! Also my favorite is Arizona: I’m unprofessional?! Also Arizona: Body block him, Karev! 😂😂😂 Iconic.

2023-11-10 21:13:34 +0000 UTCi feel like the motif of this show could be you need more trauma to get past your other trauma😂

2023-11-10 20:44:02 +0000 UTCOne of my favorite episodes of the series.

2023-11-10 19:09:45 +0000 UTCI don’t know why but out of everything that happens in this episode “That looks like a rice cake” when they showed the brain set me off 🤣

2023-11-10 19:09:00 +0000 UTC"I had to crack his chest!" - One of my fav Cristina lines and moments! And look at Bailey being such a bawss she bullies gawd into doing his jawb. 😂 Love this episode! Love this season! Solidarity through tragedy! ✨✊🏾

2023-11-10 18:41:15 +0000 UTCOMG! Literally been waiting for this ep since you started season 7! This ep was literally 10/10 for me! Remember when April sat with Mer when Derek was shot? That’s why she got someone to sit with the professor’s wife. Can we take a moment and applaud the casting Greys does for its extras! Patients that show up just for one ep have somehow stayed in our psyche for so long! Here the shooter’s mom really tugged at my heart! And she had a two scene part! Also I love your “Not the Calliope!” Much love Travis!
