That news with Whitney always hits me so hard and has me tearing up every time I watch through the show because of how well the emotions are acted in the scene. It creates a much bigger impact than you would expect when most people didn’t really care for or connect with his character that much in season one

She's definitely an underrated character for me. Strong, but in a soft, supportive way, in the background, but can come to the forefront at a moments notice. I agree that Kyla's death doesn't hit as much as it should due to her dying so early after her introduction. But, they definitely made up for that with that ending! I mean, Kyla's death is sad, but were they really expecting a huge response from us after killing her off so quickly?
