This day and age, it would be much less "thee topic", and credit for the rest of production (if still the same quality) would get all of the same accolades deserved.

I totally loved Lily saying that he was the best thing about her surgery and her time in the hospital. Too cute. And I ugly cried for Bailey. This loss hurt so much. And I agree with you that Richard came across so fake.

I do agree that some of it was overly shakey though. Cristinas final line is so impactful to me. Even though weve been shown a lot of her trauma over other characters like, avery, I think what she said shows how badly shes struggling... It is not easy being the hero.

They did it as a live show (2 showings east-coast and west-coast ones). And somehow the camera was still less 'shaky' than here. Because it only shook on the move. If they could park a shot, they were confident in wider shot, and not doing random zooms. Here the camera does this 'swaying' motion even on the most static scenes like say the girls convo next to coffee cast. Why it zooms and sways so much? Keep a steady shot, we know from the episode premise it is documentary.

Personally it is a bit annoying but again I have enjoyed 11 seasons of Modern Family so! Love this ep so much cuz of the stories. Lily and Dr Karev are the sweetest! When I saw how happy you were to see Mandy Moore I was screaming “bestie don’t get too excited for this!” Insane how unpredictable life really is. Richard is such a salesman! The way he was looking at Robbins after she won the grant, he would have literally made her his heir! Here we see why Richard is the chief and why Derek couldn’t bear to be chief for long. Also to answer your question at the end, “why they gotta do this to us”, Shonda Rhimes is a mean ghoul who lives off our tears!

Derek's line about Meridith and Christina having sleepovers while he's in the bed is one of my favorite lines in the inter series. I also genuinely enjoy the amr transplant case.

There’s quite a few actors (already watched and in the future) who are on both shows!

2023-10-30 15:02:41 +0000 UTCive been WAITINGGG for this episode its one of my favourite eps ever, i love the mockumentary theme and i love a lot of sitcoms that follow a similar camera style but its understandable also if someone doesnt like it hahaha, also i say it everytime but i LOVE alex so much and i love seeing him in peds,,, like you said he is 100% meant to be in peds!! super looking forward to the next ap as always its also one of my faves, this season is just so good!
