Bit late catching up with this, but I had to wear a school uniform. I actually quite liked it, I felt a sense of unity and it was nice not having to think about what to wear every day. Self-expression was saved for outside the classroom, although the uniform was mildly customizable to allow us each to represent our authentic selves. Also, I am one of those people who grew up in a naked household. My parents didn't just roam around naked like nudists on vacation. But if someone had just taken a bath or shower they wouldn't cover up going from the bathroom to the bedroom. I saw my parents naked many times growing up.

2023-10-18 05:50:55 +0000 UTCyeah i agree that uniforms are like a leveling of the playing field sometimes when it comes to like just different kids having different financial backgrounds but i also remember when i went to a school that had uniforms as a kid i hated it๐ and like every first friday we could pay to wear our own clothes and looking back..thatโs weird to me like it was only a dollar i believe but if the point of uniforms is to remove that worry out of the equation that kinda defeats the purpose? but who cares iโm rambling ๐ Also definitely agree with you that Adams arch is so beautifully done, for a โtropeโ of a character yanno bully to lover, the show does a really good job of really humanizing him and fleshing the character fully out
