2023-09-29 22:54:42 +0000 UTCI love this episode, it's nothing brilliant but it's a solid filler. And it's like a comfort episode for me, it's so silly and funny. It cheers me up. 🤣 At this time James Corden was only really known here in Britain. He was doing his self written sitcom Gavin and Stacey and doing other acting roles over here, so he was a very exciting guest star for the show to have. And I understand that because you only know him as the talk show guy it's hard for you to take him seriously, I get it, but I think he does a great job in this episode. Craig is a brilliant character. And I agree with what you said about him and Matt having great chemistry. Also talking of Matt, he really shines in this episode. He was actually a professional footballer before he became an actor, he had to stop playing due to a back injury, so he was in his element getting to play football as The Doctor. And I agree with you about his hair, it's amazing lol. 😂 And yeah, overall this is an episode I always enjoy on a rewatch. I can't wait for the two part finale next week. It's my second favourite Doctor Who finale so I look forward to seeing your reactions. 😊
