I believe they have 4 or more of the movies for this series on Lifetime I have read all of the books and some of VC Andrews other series of books and they are certainly twisted but they just keep your attention the writing in the books are just so good you need to watch the other movies on Lifetime. In the original movie they show them seeing the mom again can't remember if that is continued over to one of the other movies on Lifetime or not to be honest been a while since I've seen them

2023-09-25 23:54:05 +0000 UTCThe fact that the movie is so mild compared to the book series is insane. I devoured all of V.C. Andrew’s books starting in middle school all the way though college. They were all so dark and twisty and certainly not appropriate for an 11 year old to read but I had finished all of the books in the kids section in our tiny library and I got hooked on these. Definitely a change from The Baby Sitters Club.
