Hey everyone, I hope you’re all doing well and are getting some time to relax after Christmas & New Year. I’ve still be hard at work over this time so have quite a lot of cool  things to show you. I have also done a lot of QOL stuff like updates to the outfit system and how the time system works so I’ll need a bit of testing for those to make sure its all working nicely. I’ll start off with the outfits as they are probably the biggest thing, bugs wise, that I need to talk about.

New Outfits + Outfit System M*ssionary V2

So as requested by most of you people wanted to see more unique outfits added to the M*ssionary V2 scenes as there hadn’t been many since I started focusing on some of the other scenes. Now I thought it might not be worth it to add even more outfits to his scene without first updating the outfit system to thew new one a few scenes have that in the future will allow you to load any outfit with any character. This however did take a very very long time as this, and maybe the Hole 1 scene are the most complex of scenes due to the amount of different features in them.

Instead of trying to update the old code to work with this new system I just completely re wrote the whole code of this scene. This does come with a lot of benefits as it should run smoother, allows for more possibilities etc however due to there being so much in this scene I might have missed some things and some previous bugs might re appear. If you do have any bugs or things not working please let me know and I can get them fix really quick.

Now onto the outfits, I went back to look at some of the polls that had this scenes outfits in to try and figure out what ones people would most like to see however since then I have also got some more outfit sketches drawn that weren’t in those polls.

I kind of did a mix of ones that did well in polls and ones I think people would enjoy to give an all round good amount.

I think there’s 8 outfits each with multiple parts and for where it applies I have tried to include shoes with the outfits as a lot of people seem to like them. If the outfits haven’t been added to a character you like don’t worry as I think pretty soon I will be able to get this feature that lets you use them with any character added and I probably won’t have to wait for it to win a feature focus poll.

On to some more bug stuff, all the previous outfits have been updated to this new loading system as well so for Mirko, Yorha etc their outfit will now load in like how the new ones do. These outfits shouldn’t have any problems however I may have forgot to update some of the old stuff in their scenes which could cause problems so let me know.

Characters Added To Scenes

For this update I have had 3 main focuses with adding characters to scenes. The first is to get the F*rry characters added to another scene.

The scene I have gone for this time was the F*otjob scene, I know there are a few previous scenes they still need to be added to however I think he newer ones will look a lot better with them like the Shower Against Glass, Jack O etc so personally I think it would be better to add them to those ones first however if you’d rather see the older ones like the Orignal shower or h*ndjob scene then let me know.

Next I wanted to get Ranni added to some more scenes. Over the last month there were two new characters added so I didn’t have enough time to get either of them added to every scene but now that I have a bit more time I’ve managed to get Ranni added to the rest of her scenes.

There might be a couple still missing but I need to get other characters added to those ones as well so ill add her with them :)

Finally I wanted to get some more characters added to the Jack O scene which I now think has every character other than the F*rry character which will probably be coming after I added them to the Shower Against Glass scene.

For this scene I’ve had to edit the hair of the characters a bit for where its behind the head as a lot of them have quite long hair which comes down and looks a bit weird. I’ve tried to do this the best I can but my main thought is there might be some bugs with it when the head rotates so let me know if there’s any texture issues.

One last thing actually, for the Multiple Girls Hole 2 scene I have added some of the newer characters to it. Karlach, Ranni And Deer Girl can now be used with any of the other characters in that scene.

I also got a couple of characters added to the Rev C*wgirl (Front) V2 that hadn’t been added yet.

Character Head ReDesigns - Albedo, Mirko & Judy H

So for this from what I saw after showing everyone the sketches I have for the characters head, most people wanted Albedo and Mirko. There was a lot of other people for Marge & Judy so they will get done soon but for now the focus has been on the other two.

For Albedo this is how she’s looking in a lot of her scenes, I think it’s a massive improvement.

For Mirko this is how sets looking, with there there’s still a couple of things I want to move around. If you look at the 3/4 view ones the hair at the top kind of curves twice instead of being one smooth curve like the front facing one, for some of her scenes I have changed it to a smooth curve like you can see below but I don’t know which one looks best.

I do like doing these redesigns as I think they help me improve drawing characters heads but let me know what you think, like if the new heads don’t look as good as the old ones or if this still things that could be improved about them.

I did get a bit of time as well to get a third one done in the end which is very nice, I went with Judy on this one as a lot of people were requesting here a while ago so thought it would be nice. I am really really happy with how this one has turned out, I don’t know if its because its so much better than the old one but I just think it has come out amazing so im happy about that, hopefully you feel the same.

I also couldn’t decide how I liked her ears to look so I have gone with both options, either down or up.

Still Images

For this update you’re getting two still images which is quite nice

For the first one it is Loona and has 4 variations.

The next is for Samu and also has 4 Variations.

Both of these I think would work really well with the animated images thing I’ve done for some of the others so might try and get them done soon.

The main goal at the moment for this still images is to get 3 done for every character. Like always though if you have any suggestion for positions please let me know as there’s probable a lot I don’t know of.

QOL

Now this is where the big system update is but I’ll start off with something small first. I have added snow back to outside just as a little extra. This was meant to come last update but there was a small bug.

Time System Update

For the big system update I have updated the way you set your house hours and how the whole time system works. A lot of people were confused by this so I have tried to make it a bit more simple.

You will now have two times on your phone, one for open and one for closed. You can click arrows either side of these to increase or decrease the time by an hour. This should make it a lot more simple for selecting the time you want. At the moment you can change the hours as much as you like but i’m thinking of adding a limit in so you can only change it once every few days or something.

For the skipping time I have also updated this, it will now tell yo the first time you use it as well that it costs coins to skip and if you don’t have enough then it will not skip time. Hopefully this explains it well and makes it a bit easier to understand.

Hole 2 Multiple Girls Update

This is a bit less of a major change to the code but I have fixed how the screen works in the Hole 2 scene when using multiple characters to stop there being any texture glitches and now if you have the screen active with one character when you add a new one it will automatically switch the screen over to that character. You re still only able to use the screen with one character at a time but I’m going to try and allow it to be used with multiple soon just need to figure out the code

Let me know if there are still any improvements I can make with this system or any other ones that could be improved, I would like to spend some time each update improving upon some of the UI and other QOL stuff just to make the overall experience better.
