I totally agree. It's funny that my favourite classic Doctor is 2 and my favourite modern Doctor is 11 because they're SO similar. 😂

2023-08-28 06:59:05 +0000 UTCI'm SO glad that you loved this episode!! It's in my top 10 of the show personally. I think it's beautifully written and it really does make you think. I loved your reaction to the moment when The Doctor shouted at Amy. Matt is such an incredible actor, he gets you right in the heart in those moments. And one of the reasons that this Doctor is my favourite is that he's so funny and playful and random but he's only this way to mask his suffering. The previous Doctor went through SO much. He lost everyone close to him and his regeneration wasn't a happy one. He was tired and so scared, he didn't want to go. And all that pain and fear is still there but The Doctor is trying to push it down and hide it, but sometimes he can't help but let it out and that's what you see a glimpse of in this episode. And it's amazing when he let's rip like that. Chills every time. 👌 And I love episodes like this that really make you think about humanity and about the things we'd do to other creatures to survive ourselves. Humans really do suck sometimes. And I like how they drop in hints about global warming and real life issues such as democracy and how it really works. But they don't do it in a way that's too blatant or preachy, it makes you think without losing the escapism of a sci fi show. Very clever. I'm glad you're loving this season already. As you know, it's a favourite season for many fans, me included. The mystery of the cracks is very interesting. And I totally agree about Amy and this Doctor having great chemistry. I can't wait for more soon. 😊
