2023-08-04 14:45:16 +0000 UTCI will admit I am weird and there are certain episodes of this show I like to rewatch. This show is weirdly enough a comfort show for me. Anyways, this is NOT one the episodes I like to rewatch. I usually skip this episode. It’s so heartbreaking and it makes me cry every time. I will say this is an episode that might help people understand Gideon a little better. I like it because they are showing they can do different types of episodes. It is not always the same cookie cutter style find the bad guy episode.

I feel like realistically an FBI agent wouldn't do what Gideon did and allow an innocent woman to be put to death, even if it was arguably the more humane thing to do because of how badly she wanted to protect her son. But in the context of the show it was interesting to see Gideon make that choice.
