Prison story #6
Added 2023-07-03 08:58:20 +0000 UTCThere was a meeting at a prison that was being chaired by the superintendent for a bunch of visitors from Head office. The conference room they were meeting in had a large window that looked out into the main yard of the prison.
The superintendent was standing at the head of the table with his back to the window.
He starts talking about the current staff-prisoner relations. “Our prisoners and our staff enjoy a peaceful relationship of mutual respect and cooperation,” he said.
As he was speaking, behind him through the window the Head Office visitors see an officer come into view from one side of the window. The next thing they see is that he has a prisoner in a headlock and is dragging him across the yard while another officer is carrying his feet.
The visitors interrupted the superintendent’s speech on respect and point out to the window behind him. “You mean like that?” one of them asked.
The superintendent looked behind him, recognised the officer holding the prisoner in a headlock immediately and just yells out: “Dammit John!”
