Another cool band from here in Japan is Band Maid. They are an all girl heavy rock / metal group that all cosplay in maid cafe uniforms for performances (I believe they got the costume idea from one or two of the members actually working in a Tokyo maid cafe before joining the band). I would start with the live videos of either their song "Domination" or "Freedom" to get a good feel of the band vocally and musically.
