im obviously not matt but fl studio is an extremely versatile DAW (digital audio workspace, basically a playground for music) and i use and love it. there are literally thousands of tutorials on youtube for it and although the learning curve is a bit steep its relatively easy to pick up. just have some patience and you'll be pleasantly surprised with the result.
