Ages of the Vale Pt.3 [27x39]

Hey everyone!

This is the final part of our Ages of the Vale series. (Part 1, Part 2) Again, thanks so much to everyone who told us they were enjoying this series and those that had already swapped out their taverns and home bases for these, which is always amazing to hear!

For this final release we see the building reach its final stage: The Coach House. Now with a cellar, an upper floor, a thatched roof, a kitchen, many stables, two bars, a covered well and a bunch of storage rooms.

And here's some of the side quests and encounter ideas we had for the variations (in order):

We made a gif showing the six main stages of these maps, hopefully this makes it clear how the building grows over time, how the roads develop and the trees wither, sprout and grow. (also excuse the gif compression, I don't know how to fix that)

Accompanying this release we have a bunch of extras again, including the final village map so you can see how the larger environs have changed as well.

We're also collaborating with the wonderful Ivan Duch who has provided multiple tavern tracks as well as some creepy and melancholy tracks that suit the shroom storm and hag lair variations! Check out his Patreon and his website for more great RPG music!

From our long term collaborator and master mini maker Paper Forge we have these awesome bar keeper and bar maid VTT minis for you! So now you can populate the inn with these colourful characters. If you want more VTT and paper minis, check out their Patreon! They have some villagers and even a village drunk which would fit well with these!

Dagonzo is back yet again with another monster stat block, this time for our Flood Hag. For this series Dagonzo has created six new monsters for us! He's also going through all of our Czepeku maps and adding stat blocks for the monsters we've drawn or referenced. I think we're up to about 50 ideas so far! So if you like these stat blocks, please consider joining his Patreon!

And finally, here's a quick gif showing all the variations over time!

Next month we'll be back with a whole bunch of new maps! We've been working on a lot of different ideas for a while now including airship ports, banshee moors, floating tropical villages, a clockwork dragon lair and an interdimensional post office (which is a tie-in with our newest project, Borough Bound). So see you all next month for those!

Just FYI the last two download links in this post don't work for me.

would it be possible to get this without the furniture in it?

Even though I have yet to download and read the various adventures and pdfs made surrounding the, I can already tell that there is a very interesting story that spans many years, just by the fantastic visual story telling. My only regret with many of your maps, is that I can't use them all since I'm only DMing for a single group.

I've loved seeing this series come together, this'll be giving me ideas for years to come!

OK, I was a harsh about this series before, but it's grown into something genuinely unique, and cool, and very beautiful. Wonderful work.

Some say, if you're out on the lake on a quiet night, you can still hear the sound of merriment from beneath the water. It must just be a trick of the wind, though, right?

Josh Rodell

Oh and for those curious why we decided to end this series by flooding the village and having a Flood Hag take it over as her lair, it was inspired by Capel Celyn, Hambleton and the other real world villages that were submerged and turned into reservoirs.
