A crowd of eager onlookers watch in rapt attention as the Waffle Cone Frostling grapples the Puft, wrapping his arms around the Puft’s rotund belly in an attempt to tackle him to the ground. The Puft’s squishy, fluffy form proves too hard to grip for the hardy cone, though and he slips free, as their wrestling match continues. Unbeknownst to the crowd, a group of pumpkids are slinking through the crowd, pilfering sweet treats and goodies from the bags of the onlookers.

Hey everyone! Welcome to Cakewalk, a colorful setting for fifth edition where the rules of reality are a bit loose. On the Island of Yumm, people of all shapes and sizes live alongside foodfolk, like the brash gummies and the humdrum crumbkin. The residents of Yumm live in preposterous harmony, hindered only by the rumblings of Mt. Monterey and the antics of mischievous foodfolk.

Expect to find a world filled with candy people and creatures made of food! From the mighty Gummy Paladins to the scholarly Frostling Sandwitches, Cakewalk offers a fun, unique setting full of unique character options, playful magic items, and and sweet spells! Just beware the Gumslinger Bandits! They mean business.

Cakewalk is a collaborative effort by the wonderful folks over at Loot Tavern and Mage Hand Press. We ostensibly helped brainstorm the setting but really all the credit for this goes to Mike and Mo for their amazing writing and illustrations, we didn't even get the map finished in time! But they still thought we should share this wonderful setting with you all.

We'll be returning to Cakewalk in future as the setting is an ongoing project. If you like what you see please tell us in the comments and on Discord! We hope to create all new subclasses, more races, more items and we'll be making maps for this setting to accompany adventures in this candyland.
