2026-01-14 17:39:36 +0000 UTCThe visible deforestation caused by the cooks in the woods is concerning. We invest a lot into safety today to avoid leaving anything behind. Everything is managed, everything accounted for. And yet I am still fascinated by Fester. Hope they are all doing well today.

2025-11-22 18:16:38 +0000 UTCHoly shit, what an awesome dive into meth manufacturing. I super appreciate the various angles approached, particularly the raw conversations you have with these folk. Thanks as always Hamilton, every day I look forward to your content.

2025-11-02 07:18:05 +0000 UTC“It seems like there’s a lot of irony in psychopharmacology in general. People who take opiates or opioids end up crippled by pain, people that take benzodiazepines end up overwhelmed by anxiety and insomnia, and people that take stimulants end up tired and unmotivated.” That’s perceptive. So what do people who take a lot of psychedelics end up with? If we do it properly, living in the ‘real’ world in a more joyful way, perhaps. I guess that use would need to be well managed and integrated for that, as is the case of historical use in indigenous tribes, perhaps. Repeated 5MeO seems to give rise to a strengthened ego in some cases. What about other psychedelics? What’s the pattern?

2025-10-31 19:33:26 +0000 UTCWell done. I'm 44 grew up in the Midwest and had several friends that went to prison for cooking. I witnessed first hand in a trailer house how a weed grow was destroyed to harvest the high pressure sodium bulb to smoke meth out of. Another time that same trailer had an explosion from a bad cooking accident. And yet another time the saw friend of mine came over seeking advice about extradition and running away to Arizona. I saw cooking and addiction ruined multiple lives and nearly ruined my own. A friend of mine that used to ride the bus in a school of a town that had a population of 600 is dead because he was chased into a creek by the police in the middle of the winter. Another homie went to prison two years after high school. I could elaborate for hours. This perfectly scratched the surface on the madness that was that scene. What's truly epic to me though is that you hung out with Uncle Fester a true legend. At 16 years old I remember seeing his books on a Duluth bookstore that was shut down because of fear. And while I fully understand the nature of addiction and the destruction, I admire the freedom and rebellion that went along with it and I look back with sadness at all of my homies that couldn't see through it.

2025-10-20 00:44:56 +0000 UTCOne of my favorite episodes. It really reflects the true nature of the drug unlike any other piece of media I've ever seen before and highly reflects both my own personal past and countless of experiences I've seen hanging around the 'tweaker' community. The title of the episode rings ironic to an extent. Lost geniuses and also much doom is rampant and self control is sparse, they really do have a demonic side to them that possesses your soul like nothing else. Their working on the reward centers in your brain is unmatched and the words of CGKid really stay with me when he said that it truly feels like the most pleasurable thing one could experience and like ''winning a million bucks, but you didnt''. This is exactly why I to this day, avoid all stimulants like the plague and while I've had temptations and one serious relapse in the last 6 years, I strongly advise everyone not to play with fire when consuming stimulants, even people who display godlike levels of self control, exactly control themselves so well with stimulants because they are very highly aware of how much precisely these drugs will rip away their self control from their and how much they can change personality.
