Where'd you find us?
Added 2019-04-04 20:22:02 +0000 UTCHey everyone, there's a new community question! This might seem like a marketing question, in a way it is, but we're also genuinely curious. We get messages occasionally that say 'hey I saw you on...' and it's always interesting to hear about. Sometimes people find us on websites we've never been to, the Russian social network WK being an example of that. I guess someone was sharing our work there? We'll never know!
We're also considering rewarding patrons who've recommended us to a friend as we're really grateful to everyone who spreads the word about our maps. If you'd be interested in something like that, let us know!
As with all the community polls there's no obligation to answer. :)
If you haven't seen it yet, Cze wrote up some campaign notes for the new Wizard Lair map. Go check it out! Also, the Underdark Drow Manor won this week's map and we're already making good headway with it. Looking forward to showing you all on Sunday!
Edit:We've had some patrons say that they receive too many emails from Patreon and don't like it. Unfortunately that's out of our hands BUT here's the instructions for managing what you do and don't get emailed about: https://support.patreon.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002984566-How-do-I-manage-my-email-notifications-
If you want to receive less emails I'd suggest only turning on the 'paid content only' emails, that way you won't be notified of community polls, process gifs and other things like that but you'll still be notified each week when we release the map pack and the weekly map poll that goes with it. If you have any questions about any of that, send us a message. :)

I saw a couple of your maps on the /r/battlemaps sub on reddit, the aesthetic of them appealed to me the most out of every other picture battlemap out there (I only sub to you and dynamic dungeons on patreon)

2019-04-05 19:42:23 +0000 UTCIn my case, I'm part of a huge D&D Discord Server and I asked if someone had any good maps for bridge battles. Someone then linked me the Goblin bridge map here on patreon, and I really liked what I found. So I joined the ship :p

2019-04-05 00:10:15 +0000 UTCTo clarify my answer. I saw your free maps on Cartographers Guild. This led me to an image search where I finally linked through to your Patreon. After about 2 days of searching I found you and a couple other battlemap creators via google image search and subscribed to you and 3 others to handle all my random encounter / set piece needs.
2019-04-04 23:49:18 +0000 UTCGoogling for Wizard tower maps, saw the class room maps on Reddit which sparked my interest, then came to Patreon and subscribed after seeing the waterfall and bridge map.

2019-04-04 22:41:51 +0000 UTCFor the last couple of months, I've been scouring the web for cool maps and tile sets to build my campaign and world with. Technically, I found you through one of your maps put up on Pinterest, but it wasn't a link to the Patreon, so I searched this place manually.
