2017-06-17 15:18:15 +0000 UTCIt depends what you are filtering. It is a balance between getting something fine but still passes liquid easily. I think a 3 rating is the pretty typical one. Blocks larger particles but doesnt take forever to filter liquid

2017-06-16 22:55:50 +0000 UTCOh, _that_ chlorobutanol. There are many chlorobutanols, but the particular one you're referring to is 1,1,1-trichloro-tert-butanol. OK, yeah that one's easier to synthesize than others. Good move getting away from the soap line for now.
