Making Hydrazine Sulfate from Urea and Bleach

Making Hydrazine Sulfate from Urea and Bleach

Comments

Is this a reagent used in the synthesis of lysergic acid diethylamide?

Have you tried using nitric acid instead of sulfuric? Yes, I know you're mixing a strong oxidant and a strong reductant (sometimes known as fuel). But, if hydrazinium nitrate is stable under your conditions, it can be useful as an oxidizer. If anyone else is reading this, please DON"T try to make the nitrate salt without thoroughly researching both the synthesis and the chemical.
