Going forward with the story

I've decided to rewrite the entire story. The new direction involves a plot centered around drug crime, which I think will add depth and make more sense.
As previously suggested, the story will feature a drug that transforms people into futanari, causing the male population to dwindle rapidly, almost to the point of extinction. However, the protagonist's clan is a sanctuary for the remaining male populace. The protagonist is raised by an organization, akin to a gang or cartel, whose sole mission is to stop the spread of these drugs.
The antagonist is a rival gang from another city, with whom the protagonist's gang has been at war for some time. Hiro, the protagonist, is an undercover agent working to uncover new drugs being distributed in their area. Upon discovering a new, more potent drug that not only causes physical transformations but also increases aggression and lustfulness, Hiro realizes the urgency of reporting this to his mother, the head of the clan.
Hiro rushes back to his apartment, gathers his brother, and meets with his secretary before heading to his mother's office. However, they are ambushed at the mansion by the rival gang. In the ensuing chaos, Hiro's brother and mother are captured, leaving Hiro and his secretary to flee. They escape along a river, but Hiro is wounded and separated from his secretary. As he struggles to move, the villain confronts him, revealing plans to release the drug into the city's air, making it unstoppable. She then shoots Hiro and pushes him into the river.
Hiro later awakens in an old house, far from the city, saved by a stranger.
So that's the gist of the prologue! Is this tone too serious, or should I add some lighter elements?
I'm open to suggestions and really appreciate all the feedback.

This could be good! I'm imagining something like River City Ransom as a sex game now. I could see the streets being filled with rival futa's and some safe cities in between levels with lewd shopkeepers. I could also see the drugs explaining those massive horse size dicks in your sneak peak

2024-07-30 22:02:22 +0000 UTCyeah, he's quite important. I must admit that this is not well thought out but I think this fits the best with the gameplay in mind. I'll try to add more humor and be less serious in storytelling :) after all, this is just some hentai adventure/platformer game

2024-07-30 06:16:19 +0000 UTCThat's a complex story, but leaves many ways for it to unfold and nicely justifies the fighting aspect and the title of the game. I think, that the game's artstyle would be best complemented by the general narration being more humoristic / less serious, which also would create a bit of gap with actual events. Hiro sure must be important if he's got himself a secretary to boss around (or maybe it's the other way around? ;)
