Jennifer, just so you know in case it may be confusing, the actor who played Dumbledore in the first two films (Richard Harris) unfortunately passed away after the second film so from #3 onward, Michael Gambon takes over the role. As for your questions in this film, Harry’s new bedroom was previously Dudley’s second bedroom (Vernon mentions how gracious they were in giving it to Harry). Hogwarts is protected by magical enchantments which detour muggles and/or cloak it from their perception (similar enchantments are used for other locations). And while he may look 10, Harry is 12 in the film (Hagrid congratulated Harry on his eleventh birthday in the first film); wanted to ensure you knew his age as the films continue, so the emotional maturity and stages of adolescence make more sense. Keep up the great work on the reactions! Looking forward to the rest of the franchise.
