Weekly Update

How are you doing, my beautiful people?

I just woke up. My back hurts, my throat is sore, my eyes are dry... It's Monday morning in Canada.

Don't worry, I'm doing fine, but we have had smoke in the air for a few days now, and I'm starting to feel it. You can see it in the distance; everything has this yellow tint. You can smell it, and you can taste it. I'll have to drink honey water and have my eye drops ready for a while, I think.

But other than that, everything is peachy in my life at the moment, and I'm enjoying this quite a bit.

About the work

As mentioned on Friday night, I finished laying out the pages for my next collab with Tracy, and she's pre-lettering those so that we are sure that both our ideas will fit perfectly. Right now, she's finishing the text on "The Newly Webs," which should be released in a few days, but I do have the cover and the first two pages ready, so I can start working this week.

So that's what I do... I'm not entirely sure if I'll start with the cover or not, but I'll start working on this in the next hour.

For the rest of the week, I'll be working on a pinup. Still not sure about the subject. The well has run dry for a few days, and I haven't watched anything new for a while. But I'm not too worried about that, I can still go back to Dr. Who in any case... we'll see.
