I worked a long time for Burnt Toast Media, who was mostly known for "Starship Titus".
I was considered a free lancer, but really, he was my only client. I adored my time with them. Jason was a great guy, and I always felt appreciated. It wasn't the most profitable gig, but it was better than flipping burger.
During that time, I did a bunch of Pin up for his main title "Starship Titus", became the lead artist for his second series "M.A.D., Mobile Armored Division" and was a regular artist on several other books, Loads of them I had the privilege to start ( Which meant, establishing the design of every character and their setting. Which I adored doing. )
Sadly thought, he never could afford raise my pay while the cost of life kept rising up. At one time, I tried my hand at starting my own website (A Rose within the Star) which failed miserably and left me with 20K of debt and had to start a new career as an orderly for a while before stumbling into a great mainstream illustration gig, which allowed me to clear my debt and I became, for a little while, THE guy for children tv show project in Montreal. That was a fun time XD
Here's a small taste of my work with them.
Enjoy!

ps: Jason didn't like the way I colored comics, I can't blame him. I was terrible at the time, with a very old school European influences ( flat colors, odd choices, more moody than figurative). So, I only had to do the linework. He took care of the rest.
