Weekly Update
Added 2025-01-27 13:43:32 +0000 UTCHello my beautiful people.
I hope you are doing fine.
Pretty happy with lats week's production. Starting to think about the future again. Gained some weight ( too much candy last week :P ). I'm in a good mood.
Not much to tell really. I had fun watching "Saturday Night Main Event" with a few friends. I met a guy that is actually a small-time professional wrestler here in Quebec (I don't know his stage name... didn't think to ask ) that night, so I had a really fun insight about the behind the scenes.
I also went to a pretty good theater show on Wednesday called "Dehors Novembre". It was definitely not what I was expecting, but in an amazing way. It's hard to explain. "Les Colocs" is a mythic band around here. They started as a fun party-punk-pop-folk-rock group (that doesn't make any sense, I know ) that poped like crazy. You basically won't be able to find anybody unable to sign one of their songs around here. Their songs where both festive and dark. Fun and profound. It was an amazing band.
Sadly, the lead signer (André "Dédé" Fortin ) killed himself back in 2000. You can still feel the echoes of his death in our mediatic echo-system. There's a movie, a tv series and a great comic book on his life. Anyway... their last album was called "Dehors Novembre" and calling it a classic would be underselling it. It is a masterpiece.
I was under the impression that the show I was about to watch was a theater piece telling a fictitious story using this album as a premise whit a little bit of Dédé's poetries included. I wasn't expecting their actual bass player simply telling us how they put it together with an actor representing Dédé to give us some insight about the texts and recreating scenes of their life together. All of it with a live band giving us absolutely unique versions of each song. You could easily recognize them, but they where so different, it would have been impossible to sing with them. Which was extremely clever since the album in itself was for Dédé a way for the band to distance themselves of their "party band" reputation.
There no way I can tell you all how amazing the show turned out to be. I can't recall watching anything as utterly satisfying as this in my whole life. And I wish there was an album with only the show's versions.
Anyways...
This week
Back to the basic. I'll start with this week's commission and will try to go as far as possible on the Cartoon Car Wash.
I have a colab planed in March with Tracy Scops.
And as I said in my opening statement, I'm starting to think about the future projects. I still don't have anything concrete in mind... It will probably be a comic, but I'd be lying if I didn't tell you that I'm not thinking about games. I have no idea how I would code it, or pay for a programmer, but it is where my mind keep wandering to... so...
No promises :P
See you all soon!

How about a Mecha montage or Gundam Montage. They have plenty of characters to utilize. Miranda Cruz with all of her adult "sisters" would be glorious.

2025-02-02 17:45:20 +0000 UTCDC absolute verse's Wonder Woman, The X-men and X-men adjacent titles practically write themselves, GI Joe(Baroness and Duke late night meet up), Nightwing and Batgirl, Raven and Beast Boy, Harley Quinn's Little Black Book could work. Avengers, Justice League and Wildstorm all have large rosters for a montage. Marvel Rival's Magik pulls them all to Limbo for a sexy time, maybe Final Fantasy montage. 90s or 00s Anime Montage.

2025-01-28 02:50:24 +0000 UTCOr a Saturday morning cartoon version with different characters coming together to celebrate a joint victory (silver hawks and bionic six and etc)

2025-01-27 18:28:53 +0000 UTCDC animated. You could even do a multiverse thing with different character designs from different series! That’s like three different Harley Quinn 😂

2025-01-27 13:51:30 +0000 UTCI don't have anything in mind... If I was, it would probably be around "X-men '97" since i'm not reading the comics.
