Weekly Update

Hello my beautiful people! I hope you are all doing all right.

I am fine. I had the first full day off since my return from the holidays. And since I've been sick during the holidays, It felt like months ago :P I needed that! Tiredness was one of the reasons last week's commission took so long. Friday night, I was utterly beaten. And because of it, I made a mistake somewhere. I'm not entirely sure what I did wrong. If and how I deleted the wrong thing, or if I just forgot to save before closing the doc, but... Opening the picture on Saturday morning, I had lost part of my file representing a good 3 or 4h of work. So what supposed to be a chill half a day of work, turned into a full day, while already exhausted.

So yeah, Sunday's break was needed.
And because of that, I didn't prepare this week's commission as I usually do on Sundays.

All this to say that, this week, is going to be a bit different.

I'm not sure if you guys know that, but I rarely limit myself to 8h/days. It's usually closer to 12h/days. Not healthy I know... But there's nothing I enjoy more than drawing, so I barely feel it.

That said, this week, I have things planned for Tonight, probably tomorrow night, definitely Wednesday night, and something I want to do on Friday night. That is a lot of nights... A lot of nights I won't be working. And since commission takes a lot of time in preparation, the back and forth, and I tend to work harder on the sketch (after all, I want the commissioner to understand what they approve of), they take a lot more time than usual.

I decided, exceptionally, not to work on a commission this week. This week will be entirely dedicated to the cartoon carwash. And I hope to bring it pretty close to the finish line that way ^^ I wish to complete this one by the end of the month (not that I'm not entirely enjoying myself working on this), so I can use February to clean out the remaining list since, I have a comic collaboration planned in March with Tracy Scoop: I figured that, since I'm tapped out of script ideas, I might as well work with her to give you all a new comic relatively soon. Also, I adore Tracy and will ALWAYS be happy to collaborate with her.
