Weekly Update

How are you doing my beautiful people?
I had a long week, but I'm happy with the results.

Heath wise, my throat infection is behind me. Insomnia slowed me down a bit. But things should get back on track on that part. I'm always hesitant about using sleeping aids. My body react unevenly when it comes to narcotics. Sometime sleeping aids don't do a thing, sometime they knock me out for two days :P... but I bought melatonin, and I'll use it for a few days if my body still refuse to get with the schedule.

I also had to deal with a technical issue on Patreon... I'm happy to say that the help center was quick to answer this time around, although they didn't have a solution for me. Turns out, there was a payment still pending from one supporter. And that was enough to block all changes in prices for all my tiers, even if that supporter wasn't a member of the 2 tiers I wanted to edit. And their only solution was to wait for the payment to be approved by their bank. So I check the payment history of that supporter and there was 2 other payments still pending. One was 3 months old. Clearly there was a problem there... I mentioned this to the help center, and yet their only solution was for me to wait.

So I contacted the supporter. Explaining the situation, asking if they could approve the payment manually or something. They were extremely cool with me. Told me that sadly it was a known issue. They had been in contact with Patreon help center for a while already. Apparently Patreon did receive the money on all 3 payments, but a glitch somewhere keep those as pending. And since the money had been taken away, there was no way for them to approve the payment retroactively... So instead, they cancelled their subscription with me in order to free my hands. And it worked!!! My issue was fixed. But I do hope that their will be fixed soon. I'd hate to lose them because of a site issue. Especially since they went above and beyond to help me with something they had nothing to do with.

Patreon's system doesn't allow me to give someone a subscription, but I will find something to thank them in any case.

Anyways... workwise, the commission turned out great. Couldn't post it here, but you should know how to find it by now, and while I was short on time by the end of the week, I did manage to add a few elements to the car wash. So I'm happy with myself.

This week:

This week will be more of the same. The commission is a bit complex in the description, but I sent the sketch last night and I'm waiting for the commissioner's approval of it before moving along. Meanwhile, I still have the Cartoon Carwash to work on. If I was on this full time, I think it could be done in two weeks. It will probably take a month or so at this rate, but I think I'll be able to release the full picture in Febuary.
