Appreciation post

As I'm taking a dinner brake from working on the latest batch of elements to the Cartoon Carwash, I couldn't help feeling a wave of gratitude for you all and I wanted to share that with you.

I've been on this site for years.

When I decided to move from games to comics, you all sticked with me.

When I had surgery and had MONTHS of slower output, you all sticked with me.

When I decided a few weeks ago to slow down on the bigger projects to take on commissions, your responses where overwhelming. And for the first time in at least 6 months, I did not end this one in the red. You can't imagine how much of a relief that is for me.

Last week, when I decided to remove a picture that was overall all right but blurred the line too much, none of you complained, and the messages I had about it where all understanding and in support of my decision. Which I appreciated even in the midst of repetitive anxiety attacks about it. It helped!

And this week, when I decided to temporarily slow things down even more so I could recuperate from theses attacks, while I'm not going to tell you that I was overwhelmed by get well cards :P the little contacts I got from some of you where super nice to me and only wishing me well.

What can I say? I am super lucky to have you. And will do everything I can to be deserving of that kindness toward me and your continual support.

I often say : "I'll be forever grateful". In these exact words. I sometime wonder if the repetition of that particular line could be considered as a lack of sincerity of my part. Nothing could be further from the truth. It's just that once my brain finds a path to do a particular thing in a particular way, it's pretty hard for me to change ways ^^

so I'll repeat it again: Thank you all for everything.
I'll be forever grateful!
And will see you all real soon.

Always not only promote yourself but protect yourself. Healthy in mind and body, and making sure you can maintain that type of feeling is so very important.

This is a joke. Do not take me seriously.

No problem. If you have any spare time go help Tracyclops, and sort out her production woes, lol.

Thanks man. this means a lot.

You have been consistent, which is far more than I can say for a lot of Patreon artists that I've backed in the past. Take your time, get your head together, we will still be here.
