I tried to keep it simple, realistic in terms of setting, but also make it opened to exploration and various possibilities.
Speaking of possibilities, I'd really like for you guys to suggest things to do in the comments ( I don't mean sex positions ). I'd like you guys so suggest animated series and movies you'd like to see me use, as well as amusing situations for me to illustrate. If you go back to the Comicon picture, you'll see that most characters aren't having sex. I'd like to do something similar again; a mix of sex, sexy situations and humor.
The colors took me lightly longer than expected. 1, I always forget how log coloring the line takes and 2, The wet parking lot gave me trouble. I wanted to have big puddles of water reflecting the sun and the sky, but it just didn't work. It was horrible. So it took me almost 4 hours just to figure out something that worked.
As it is right now, the working resolution is already double what I usually work on. And I plan to double that once more for the characters so that I can have a satisfying level of details, despite the scale.
Tomorrow, I'll start adding vehicles all over the place. But since I'll be out for the weekend, I won't be waiting to have drawn all of them before adding in characters since I want you guys to star to receive pictures as fast as possible.

This is a great backdrop! I’m imagining: Jubilee and Kitty Pryde from 90s X-Men cartoon in bikinis, playfully slipping and sliding around as they try to carry big water buckets over to the car. Or Lady Jay, Baroness, Scarlet from GI Joe in summer swimwear teasing Barbie who has arrived on scene, and is overdressed for the occasion

2024-08-16 16:55:40 +0000 UTCAn idea that is open to alteration: Gi from Captain Planet and the Planeteers sprays water on the cars with her ring to rinse them off, but gets distracted by either someone's anatomy or something erotic going on, so the water goes off-course and hits Robot Jones from Whatever Happened to Robot Jones and causes him to short-circuit.

2024-08-16 16:54:48 +0000 UTCThat's a really nice background and I really like how you've already kind of divided it up into different sections in order to allow for a number of different types of scenes to play out. Now, please correct me just in case I'm wrong regarding the whole setup, but I imagine this is like one of those charity drives where a bunch of bikini-clad women washes cars for a good cause, right? That's at least what came to mind when you first pitched the idea. Anyway, onto a few suggestions just off the top of my head: - Over the years there's been plenty of cat-like characters in cartoons, so it could be fun to see someone like Cheetara and/or Callie Briggs get sprayed or splashed with water and having them react just as you'd expect a regular cat would. - Having Arcee standing in as one of the cars getting washed could be a lot of fun, and would also add some interesting dynamics in terms of her sheer size compared to everyone else. I mean, you simply can't make a big picture like this that celebrates old saturday morning cartoons and not represent the Transformers in some fashion, right? - April O'Neil could be reporting on the event, dressed up in a bikini or swimsuit version of her classic yellow jumpsuit. - Adding a few characters from He-Man is almost a must, and you would barely even have to tweak the designs of their attire at all for them to fit right in with the setting. Teela and Evil-Lyn could engage in some form of personal competition while He-Man himself is caught up in the moment and just happily washes a car, to either the delight or disappointment of the owner. - It might be too small, but maybe have Smurfette and Gadget work on the (toy)car of some character of equal size to them.
