i'm sincerly tired of drawing other people ideas
Added 2022-11-18 06:58:52 +0000 UTCand correct till their liking, and always having in mind that i have to do it to their liking even if they don't tell me because is what i have to do... drawing is nothing fun with that invading thinking, but is the only way people support me unfortunately i do that or i quit arting... can't handle irl work and stuff with this comm work
and i feel bad about it honestly, at the end they paying for it so is their right, is their way to support me

It's perfectly okay that you feel this way, commission work can be difficult and it's more than fine for you to vent about it a little. I agree with what Naj said, setting boundaries for what you will and wont do during a commission would, especially with time consuming stuff like revisions, would be a good idea, if only to make everything easier on yourself.

2022-11-18 14:33:05 +0000 UTCHey man, it's okay to rant. Commission is always a bother since you have to follow order from a client and you can't do what you want. Unfortunately, I don't think there is a lot of way to live as an artist and have the most of artistic freedom. The most important thing is finding the equilibrium between commission & personnal work, to not burn out yourself
