question

guys do you support me for the ideas or for the skill on my art, i received several messages on twitter telling me that people don't care about anatomy on nsfw artworks

wanted to ask if you don't care about it, so i stop taking the effort to deliver detailed and trying to improve the anatomy and i just draw lots of same poses and not caring that much for anatomy hence more pieces per month, they told me they would support me if i do that... and that's why people don't support me

unfortunately time is an issue i would deliver more edtailed work if i were a full time artist honestly lol

I support your work because I think you are talented, not for the quantity of work you put out, so as far as i am concerned you should just do what you enjoy doing the most.

I would rather see you draw what you are passionate about. If you are wanting to improve then please keep doing so! Of course my favorites are when you draw characters I like (Glynda Goodwitch for example) but I plan to support you while I can as I find your work to be inspiring

I believe majority of your current supporters are here for both, they're here for your skills and ideas. I think the people on twitter are suggesting that you lower or simplify the details found in your artwork and use simple poses so you could increase the amount of pieces you release monthly. Some bigger artists do use simple poses for their characters, also sometimes their work are less detailed and the quality of their finished work is close to what you may call a sketch but they still have cult following. You may want to start a poll on Patreon and Twitter so you'll have an idea on what people are thinking. It's better to ask your fans directly since you want art to be a viable source of income. You could change your art style for a month or two and see if it brings you more supporters. By changing the way you draw, some supporters may stay and some may leave but you may also attract new supporters. If you want to get more supporters, you should get on Pixiv and post your work there as well. With your skills you'll get noticed by people on that platform easily. As for me, I don't mind if you just release one piece a month or two as long as you poured your time, ideas, skills and passion in to it.

I agree with the post above me, quality is more important than quantity. I think a lot of people don't know how much time and work goes into a single illustration.

Quality > Quantity

I follow you for both, but more for the skill than the idea. I especially love the fact you take time to produce high quality drawing with a special attention for the anatomy, and I find really problematic that a lot of NSFW doesn't care for that, giving a lot of shitty drawing. Also, if you decide to reduce your quality to produce more, I think people will notice it and you could lose followers.
