AAAaaannnnnndd... I'M BACK!

Did you miss me?

I actually did miss you guys. I'm not even kidding. When starting the 2nd week, I was like: "Maybe I could do with only one week." But I reminded myself how much I pushed back my vacations, how much it was needed and snapped out of it.

I'm still very happy with my PS5 purchase. I basically spent two weeks on it :P

Over the last month, I played Spider-man remastered ( including all the DLCs ), Miles Morales, Horizon Zero Dawn and it's DLC, Mirror Edge ( fun, but I'm absolutely rubbish at it. It could gain as a 3rd person view game in my opinion ), Assassin's creed Syndicate ( it was cheap... and SOOOOOO boring, I didn't finish it ), Miss Pac Man ( one, really well invested, dollar) and on this 2nd week of vacation finally gave in and bough Horizon Forbidden West. OH MY GOD!!! I though the first Horizon looked good, the difference is amazing.

That said, I also watched a few things in the hope to get some inspiration for my work. Cyber Punk Edge Runner was great ( although I lost interest after Main died and I have yet to finish the series ), Vox Machina season 2 ( still as amazing. Started watching last night and had to force myself to stop and go to bed ), Cybersix ( cool little Canadian animated show from the 2000, based on an Argentinean comic series ), A few Bollywood movies ( I LOVE Bollywood movies ) and Relic Hunter ( basically, Indiana Jones the series but with the gorgeous Tia Carrere, at her absolute peak of sexiness, as a lead ).

Yeah, I know, I'm a lazy ass, but I needed that... and baby, it's cold outside!

Now, I feel fresh, rested and ready to go back. My brain is a bit all over the place, though. Too many things to do I guess.

I also had a close call with a catastrophe last Thursday ( I think ) when Microsoft warned me that my One Drive ( Which I NEVER HAD ANY INTEREST FOR... I already have two backup systems for my 5 hard drives. Let me deal with my own shit, thank you very much! ) was full and I need to either deleted files or buy more space in other to keep using Outlook for my emails.

So I went ON LINE, and started deleting files ON LINE... Little did I know, One Drive is configured in a really dumb way for a back up systems and deleted the corresponding files ON MY PC.

Thankfully, everything was still in my garbage, so I restored everything before disabling the synchronization, but that still needed a few hours of pain in the ass to fix. My Clip Studio Paint is still in need of some calibrations ( or me to get use to the new sensibility settings ) before things are 100% back to normal.

THIS WEEK:

I already have a pic in the work and should post it later today. ( What can I say? I got bored last friday ).

I will have to open shop for a few commissions. The last 2 months were catastrophic for my subscribing numbers and I gotta make up for it if I want to pay the bills. I lost quite a few subscribers lately... I can't blame them. I worked like hell, but almost had nothing to show for and than these vacations didn't help. On that, all I can say is this: I'm sorry you guys didn't received a much material as you deserved. The two comics are coming ( later than I was expecting... but I know Tracy is hard at work... she's just overwhelmed with her backlog ). And at the time, going back to back with two issues felt like a good idea. I will make sure to space them out in the future.

I also have a new Star Wars book coming too. I have a rough script that I like quite a bit but it has some major issues. I will work on it while working on pinups and commissions and I will start drawing the actual pages as soon as the script is ready I'm done with commissions. Hopefully, around the end of march.

So... Things are moving along, and I am ready and excited to bring things back to normal around here.
