Added 2022-05-05 22:19:30 +0000 UTCSometime you accept a request based on a quick read of a description, write it down on the list and, when you finally sit down to work on it, realise you have next to zero interest for it.
It happened here: I'm not especially into anime aesthetic. I had already drawn a streaking scene based on these characters... I wasn't feeling it. Monday was a chore: Long reference research, tried multiple layouts either in drawing or just playing around with the references. Nothing worked. So I stopped early, finished reading Invincible and went to bed frustrated.
But apparently, I had produced something. I had found a good number of ways not to draw that picture. Because on Tuesday morning, I knew exactly what to do with it, started LOVING it and got carried away big time.
So here it is, boys and girls, and I'm pretty happy with this one.
