He was already familiar with the concept thanks to some rare comic books he had managed to get his hand on. I was a big fan of Manara and was doodling his own things in his sketch book.
Oh boy, was he surprised by the amount of artwork he could found. One of the first picture he got attracted to was a picture by T-catt of Supergirl and Batgirl with the caption: "Supergirl and Batgirl are super friends."
This is how I got introduced to the concept of shipping. And that couple has been one of my favorite ship ever since.
