2022-03-27 15:48:30 +0000 UTCI enjoyed it a lot when I was young as well. Was into darker stuff at that point and I enjoyed Batman for my entire life, so I dug the hell out of that comic. But yeah, as I grew up, I realized how messy those comics were. And honestly, they could have been really good. Does make me miss when Frank Miller was good, with his work in Batman: Year One, Daredevil (Frank's the reason why Daredevil now has his iconic red suit), Sin City (both the comics and the movies), and The Dark Knight Rises.

2022-03-27 06:23:19 +0000 UTCThere's a reason for this. It's actually the first comic I ever both for myself ( meaning, I worked for it and not used Christmas money or something ). Written by Frank Miller, art by Todd Mcfarlane. That may not seem like a big deal but, I lived in a small town out of nowhere. I was going to college full time, had to hitchhike every night to come home cause the closest buss stop was in the next town and I couldn't count of my dad not to be way too drunk to drive ( or even home ) to pick me up and only had some small landscaping jobs in the neighborhood on weekends to get some income. So I adored that book... even though, YES, it was a mess and not really good :P
