Weekly Update

Good morning people. It is now 1 am on Monday morning and apparently this is the start of my week :P

I hope you guys are doing great. I’m ok, my stomach is still a bit weird since that steak incident so I’ll be sure to call my doctor later today, I suspect it is related to my medication so I’m not worried.

I had a great relaxing weekend. I tried to stay away form the news since it's kind of scary out there. I started watching “LA’s Finest” which I liked but when I learned is was a spinoff of “Bad Boys” (one of the main characters is Marcus’s sister.) I went back and binge the trilogy thinking I might have forgotten something. I’m NOT a fan of Micheal Bay: I always like the first BB, and hated the second. The thirds one is amazing. But to my surprise, I enjoyed the second one quite a bit this time around. I’m finding this happening more and more in my old age. Me enjoying things I use to hate. I guess, I’m getting softer.

Anyway... I’m about half way through the first season of “LA’s Finest”. It’s not great but it is quite enjoyable. And you don’t need to have watched the “Bad Boys” trilogy to follow it. So far there has been absolutely zero mention of that origin outside of once or twice mentioning a past in Miami and the fact that there’s a total of two characters that have made the transition from the movies to the series.

Well, that’s it for now.
I’m getting through the commission list. It’s taking a bit longer than expected since over the years and I just keep adding details and textures so I went from 8h to 16h for the usual picture. Also, so far, most of the commissions on the list where a lot more complex than usual, with multiple characters, but I’m having fun.
