I was too young to get the dense storylines of Valerian’s books, but I was loving the art and especially her. That might be why it’s only the second time I tried to draw her in more than 25 years doing this, and I’m still unsatisfied by the result. I like what I’ve done here, but something is missing.
Next time, I think I’ll try to emulate Mézières style. That might be it.
Anyway… Still enjoying the results.

That turns it into quite a watchable romp. By Storm, do you mean the comics drawn by Don Lawrence? I have the complete set digitally if anyone is interested, but only with Dutch dialogue. I would not know about it if my libary did not have it. The one who decided what to put on the shelf must have been a comic enthusiast^^. Rork is great and the other stuff the artist did is a great read, too.

2022-01-25 09:32:00 +0000 UTCIt was the same for me. I loved reading all the european comics in the libary from Valerian over Storm to Franka. Newer Stuff I love is Sillage for example. I think I will reread them again. And thanks for the great picture
