Weekly Update
Added 2022-01-03 12:48:30 +0000 UTCHow are you doing my beautiful people?
I’m feeling a better for the moment, but this thing seems to flare up (for a lack of a better word) periodically. It feels like a cold that reset itself every few days.
I am not as sure as I was that it’s Covid anymore (despite most symptoms being present), simply because I saw my step father, who is sick with it, two days ago. He simply showed up at my door with a Christmas gift. I really appreciated the gesture but sent him back to his quarantine ASAP.
Anyway… I’m not telling you that to shame him, but only to say that what he has is way stronger than whatever I have. Although, it is said that Covid doesn’t affect peoples the same way. It made me doubt my own diagnostic :p
This week:
My hope is to complete Tracy’s comic. Only two pages remaining but it’s still a tall order. The last page is quite ambitious (new location, lots of characters) and because of whatever this is, I never really know how much energy I will have any given days. It is quite frustrating.
I also ran out of coffee last night… HAHAHA!
Sorry, I had to say it :P
See you guys soon!
Stay strong out there.
Stay safe, and take care of your love ones.
And let’s hope for a better year.

2022-01-04 13:50:49 +0000 UTCYes, take care of yourself. I have also noticed that symptoms can fade then flare up again the next day (in recovery now) and tbh, it's the weirdest virus I've had, I've had full blown flu before and that wasn't fun but was more predictable. The coronavirus had changing symptoms coming and going independently for me and my girlfriend.

2022-01-03 20:29:49 +0000 UTCOh, and if anyone is looking for actually good masks, I suggest having a look at Soomlab: https://soomlab-korea.com/collections/global-delivery/products/globalyear-end-sale-airqueen-breeze These are made in Korea, they ship anywhere in the world. The AirQueen Breeze are the first masks I've tried where my glasses don't fog up because the mask actually fits, and I breathe through the filter, not around it. The bands go around your head, not just your ears, making everything very tight fitting.

2022-01-03 19:33:16 +0000 UTCOh, yeah. Stay at home if at all possible. Current advice over here is to use a self-test (even sold by grocery chains now), and only go to a testing location if those are positive.

2022-01-03 19:25:00 +0000 UTCGet tested, if you haven't. If you have, trust the test and quarantine. Get well soon!

2022-01-03 17:03:43 +0000 UTCyeah... Since I live alone, work from home and have no car... It felt safer to stay home than risk exposing other people in bus... also, the lines where hours long when my symptoms started ( on the 22 of december ) But the lines most have died down a bit since people aren't rushing to get tested in the hope to party anymore... I'll check it out.

2022-01-03 15:07:59 +0000 UTCIf you're otherwise healthy the new variant can be pretty mild. It's also a lot less damaging to your lungs and nervous system, as it basically stays up in your nasal cavity and throat. (Which is why it's so infectious.) But the only way to be sure if you've got it or not is a PCR test. Those should be easy enough to get these days.
